The control panels for Konica Minolta’s bizhubs are simple and intuitive, so you don’t need to resort to the manual to figure things out. Adding additional paper trays and drawers will increase the total capacity of this model up to 3,650 pages. The 150-sheet by-pass tray can support paper weights from 16 to 100 pounds. The bizhub C280 comes with two 500-sheet cassette trays, each capable of supporting 140 pound card stock of sizes up to 11” x 17”. Able to hold up to 100 sheets, the ADF can scan sizes up to 11” x 17” at speeds up to 70 images per minute. The duplexing ability of the RADF allows for making copies from 2-sided originals without having to manually flip the original papers. The Reversing Automatic Document Feeder (RADF) can handle the copying, scanning, and faxing of originals, be they in color or in B&W. With a 35-inch height and weighing in at 216 pounds, the bizhub C280 is decidedly a floor model. An USB access port on the front allows copies or scans directly from a USB Flash drive eliminating the need to connect to a computer. A person can scan or copy directly on the bizhub (that’s not a typo: Konica actually spells “bizhub” in lowercase letters), while other functions are being done via the network, phone, or optional Bluetooth. One of the nice features of this multifunction is it can multitask.
